How To Send Your Watch 

Please follow these instructions when posting your watch to us: 

• Please contact us prior to posting your watch, to advise us of the nature of the problem with your watch.  
• Ensure your watch is well protected ; wrap the watch in bubble wrap, tissue or a padded envelope to add extra protection. 
• Place the watch in a jiffy bag, padded envelope or plastic box. (Please do not send your original watch presentation box)
• We recommend you use Royal Mail's Special Delivery service. This service offers reliability and security, with insurance of your watch up to £2500.

Along with your watch please include the following information: 

• The postal address to which the watch is to be returned.
• Contact telephone number and email address
• A small description of the repair/service you would like to be undertaken.

For added security please label your repair/service parcel as follows:

 Does your watch need a new battery? 

At Swiss Watch Workshop we are able to restart your Quartz watches with battery replacements. We only use 'mercury free' RENATA or ENERGIZER batteries which we believe are the best quality on the market and recommended by the top watch brands.

Our watchmaker will replace your battery and reseal your watch, following four steps:

1. Replace the old battery, making sure it hasn’t leaked and damaged the movement.

2. Examine the general condition of the movement, and check the movement consumption rate using specialist equipment.

3. Re-seal and cleaning of the case and the bracelet using ultrasonic technology.

4. Test the watch’s water-resistance to brand specification, using specialist equipment.

12 months warranty on the work.

My name is Ernest Varnagiris I am a second generation Swiss trained and certified watchmaker. My watchmaking career began 22 years ago in Lithuania at the age of 18 in my father's workshop.

I worked as an apprentice for about 3 years and then moved on to work as a watchmaker for a local company http://www.sveicarija.eu. This company is an official authorized agent in Lithuania for watch brands such as Breitling, Baume & Mercier, Longines and Tissot.

During my 10 years of working for this company I was officially service certified for Breitling, Omega, Longines, Tissot and ETA movements manufactured in Switzerland.

In 2005 I was offered a technical watchmaker position with Breitling Service Centre UK in Royal Tunbridge Wells. During my two years with Breitling Service Centre UK I received training, both in-house and externally with Breitling in Switzerland.

In 2008 I moved to London to work as a senior watchmaker for Aurum Holdings LTD, the owner of such prestigious stores as Watches of Switzerland, Mappin & Webb and Goldsmiths. In 2010 I moved to the South West of England where I continued to work for Aurum Holdings LTD in Torquay. During my time with Aurum Holdings LTD I received official certification from Cartier UK, Breitling UK(refresher training), Rolex(level 2) UK and Omega UK.

In 2016 I decided to leave Aurum Holding LTD to set up my own watch repair workshop "SWISS WATCH WORKSHOP" in Exeter's beautiful Southernhay.

I am now offering my extensive experience and skills to UK customers from my modern, fully equipped and secure workshop in Exeter a stones throw from the High Street.

Swiss Luxury Watches and watch repairs are not only a job for me, they are also my greatest hobby and passion in life.
